Jan 25, 2012 - The NHRA bought the Diamond P archive and has been in the process of restoring and digitally capturing their old races. They have re-released their year in review videos on DVD format recently.

Jan 25, 2012 - Thanks for the info, but I was mostly concerned with all the Trans Am and IMSA races from the 80's and 90's I know they had. Plus all the ASA Stock Car Racing they did in those days. I didn't have a problem with oval racing as I do now because between ASA and NASCAR and IMSA and SCCA is was equally covered by Diamond P/TNN. Unlike today were its wall-to-wall NASCAR.....

Jan 25, 2012 - I don't know if you are aware but there is a diamondpvideo youtube channel that seemingly puts out high quality originals. Maybe you could message them and ask them what happened to that stuff? They mostly show drag racing footage.
